The Blue Square Art Gallery is going to open up their archives on June 9th, during their next photographic exhibition entitled, “Over and Under: On Commerce.” The new stock photography website, http://stock.bluesquareart.com , will contain links to purchase all of the Galleries Limited Edition Prints, as well as download Royalty-Free and Rights Managed Stock Images.
The site will initially include the photographic libraries of the three founders of the gallery, Tom Maddrey, Mark McWilliams, and Thisbe Grace McWilliams. “By having our photographs online, clients will be able to decide which images work for their needs and download them right away,” says Mark McWilliams, “We also hope to be a ‘local’ stock company where clients can come in and meet with us to help decide what kind of imagery is needed for their particular project.”
By combining the best parts of a Gallery and a Stock Agency, Blue Square Art hopes to attract those clients who are tired of the impersonal Stock experience. “We are real photographers with a real storefront who are never too busy to help a client,” states Maddrey, “and because we are all active photographers as well, if we don’t have it in the archive, we can make the image uniquely for you!”
The Blue Square Art Gallery is Dallas’ newest local photography hotspot. Photographers and co-founders Tom Maddrey, Mark McWilliams, and Thisbe Grace McWilliams collaborate to create dynamic photo installations in their Commerce St. gallery. With subject matter ranging from Nature and Wildlife images, Portraits, Architecture and everything in between, each exhibition at the Blue Square Art Gallery is a unique and stunning experience. Located at 3023 Commerce St., Studio A in Deep Ellum.
